Only in its third year, Blarney Times has become a bona fide event for the City of Ships. The parade begins at eleven:00 a.m., rolling via the coronary heart of downtown with a the usual marching bands and hearth trucks complemented by pipe bands for the holiday. Unique to the Bath parade are the Pub Scouts, a kazoo band with headquarters at Byrnes Irish Pub. Things will get loud insida, as the Maine Community Security Pipe & Drum Corps will entertain during the afternoon. I don't know why, but that just bugs me a great deal. The Wiltern is situated in Los Angeles on the corner of Wilshire and Western (therefore the name. Clever, huh?). This location is Huge, but it still has the feel of a little club. It used to be much more a traditional theatre, with set seats, but most of the seats have been removed. The nice factor about the tiers is that they can pack a lot of people in, and everybody nonetheless has a fairly great see of the stage. You can really feel the hometown, local pleasant environment when you walk into Chicken's Nest Pub, Bar, and Saloon. Talk about delicacies, this place tends to make everything from scratch. Chicago tribune voted it "Best Wings in Chicago." Live Music in the rear lounge tends to make for a lovely night. Verify it out here. Usually the gigs there are the best of Camden's new music scene, it's generally rammed full on Friday and Saturday nights, drinks aren't too costly they have cheap pictures and on their club night Casino Royale you can perform roulette and win drinks.
